Terms & Conditions

These terms apply between you and Defined PMU, a permanent makeup studio at Albertinkatu 5, 00150 Helsinki, Finland, business identity code (Y-tunnus) 3630385-5. They cover appointments booked with the studio and use of this website.

Defined offers permanent makeup for lips: lip blush, lip neutralisation, and top-ups for returning clients. It does not offer any other treatment, and it is a cosmetic service rather than a medical one.

Every appointment begins with a consultation. If the practitioner concludes that treatment is not appropriate for you — on the day, or after reading your health questionnaire — it will not go ahead, and anything you have paid for it will be refunded.

Booking, prices, changes and cancellation are set out in the Booking & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. Prices are in euros and include VAT.

By booking an appointment you agree to:

• be 18 or older
• complete the health questionnaire honestly and completely before you arrive, and tell the practitioner if anything changes before the appointment
• read the pre-care guidance and follow what the practitioner asks of you beforehand
• follow the aftercare you are given, and contact the studio if anything concerns you afterwards

Permanent makeup works on living skin. Withholding relevant health information, or not following aftercare, affects both the result and your safety.

Pigment behaves differently on every client. How a result heals and how long it lasts depends on skin type, undertone, lifestyle, the healing itself and the aftercare, and no studio can promise a particular outcome. A top-up appointment is recommended for the best healed result.

The photographs on this site are of real Defined clients, taken immediately after treatment, and are labelled as such. They show what the work looks like on those clients — not a result guaranteed to you.

The practitioner may photograph your lips as part of documenting the treatment. Using any photograph publicly — on this website, on social media, or in advertising — is separate, voluntary, and asked for specifically. Consenting to one use is not consenting to another, and you can withdraw permission at any time.

The studio is responsible for carrying out your treatment with the care and skill you are entitled to expect, and for the equipment, pigments and hygiene practices it uses.

Your rights under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act apply in full. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for personal injury caused by the studio's negligence.

Clients of the studio receive a personal referral link. If somebody uses it and goes on to have a treatment, the client who introduced them earns €25 of Defined Credit.

When it is earned. A referral qualifies only once the referred client's appointment has actually taken place and the practitioner has recorded it as completed. Booking is not enough, and neither is paying: an appointment that is cancelled, missed or never completed earns nothing. Each referred booking can qualify once.

How it may be used. Defined Credit is applied against the amount due at the studio for a future Defined treatment. It does not reduce the payment required online when booking, and the amount used on any one appointment cannot exceed what would otherwise be owed at the studio. Credit accumulates, and you choose whether to use it when you book. Whatever is not used stays yours.

What it is not. Defined Credit has no cash value. It cannot be exchanged for money, refunded, or transferred to another person. It applies to the studio's own services and to nothing else.

How long it lasts. Credit expires 12 months after it is earned. Each amount carries its own date, and your Client Card shows what you have and when the soonest of it expires.

If an appointment is cancelled. Credit applied to an appointment that is cancelled before the treatment is returned to your balance, with the expiry date it originally had. Any refund of money paid online is a separate matter, handled under Booking & Cancellation.

The studio keeps a record of referrals that have qualified so the programme can be administered and checked. It never tells you who booked through your link, and never tells them who invited them — the privacy policy describes what is kept.

The text, photographs and design on this site belong to Defined PMU. The client photographs in particular are of real people and are published with their permission — please do not reproduce them.

These terms are governed by Finnish law. If something cannot be resolved with the studio directly, you can take a consumer dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board via the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, or to the courts.
